Credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings has revised Czech Gas Networks Investments (CGNI) Outlook to negative reflecting action on majority owner CEZ; Ratings affirmed.

Credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has affirmed Czech Gas Networks Investments S.a.r.l.'s (CGNI)'s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BBB+' with Stable Outlook and senior unsecured rating at 'A-'.

Credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings has raised Czech Gas Networks Investments (CGNI) Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) from 'BBB+' to 'A-'.

CEZ Group has completed the acquisition from E.ON of a 100% stake in Gas Distribution s.r.o., the operator of the gas distribution network in the South Bohemian Region and in parts of the Vysočina Region. Through its subsidiary GasNet, CEZ is thus expanding its gas distribution network and with the exception of Prague will now distribute gas throughout the Czech Republic.

In 2025, CGNI completed its first MSCI Provisional ESG Rating and received an AA rating on MSCI’s seven-point scale (AAA–CCC). The outcome positions CGNI among the industry leaders in the management of ESG risks and opportunities.

The annual sustainability report published by the GasNet Group is used to disclose information about impacts, processes, and responsible management practices in the area of ESG. It includes consolidated non-financial data at the GasNet Group level for the 2024 calendar year.

ČEZ Group has signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Gas Distribution s.r.o., the operator of the gas network in the South Bohemian Region and part of the Vysočina Region. With this acquisition through its subsidiary GasNet, s.r.o., ČEZ Group will expand its gas network to the last remaining region and will distribute gas throughout the Czech Republic, with the exception of Prague.
